MEET LIKE-MINDED STUDENTS AT YOUR UNIVERSITY


Umii was founded in 2018 by two graduates who wanted to make it easier for like-minded students to meet at uni.

Through a process rooted in psychological research, the Umii app provides the initial ice-breaker between students who are likely to get on.

How it works:

1) Select your university.

2) Validate your profile with your .ac.uk email address (this is how we keep the app safe from imposters!).

3) Answer a quick personality questionnaire, based on The Big 5 Personality Traits.

4) Select your interests.

5) Build your profile (with a focus on your interests, not your face!).

6) Everyday, we’ll connect you with 3 new students that share your interests and personality traits!


How is it safe?

Umii is endorsed by, and works in partnership with, the universities we’re live at. Only students with a valid .ac.uk email address, specific to these universities, can join the Umii community. Our simple report and block quickly gets rid of anyone attempting to misuse the app.

Unlike other apps, Umii will never charge you anything, nor show you any adverts. The universities we work with bear all costs.
